Alastair N Brown
Alastair was born in Upton upon Severn in 1886, the son of Archibald and Georgina Brown. In 1891 he was living in Ledbury with his parents Archibald and Alice Georgina Brown and his brother William. By 1901 the family had moved to 107 Plymouth Road, Penarth and Alastair was living there with his parents and brothers William and Archibald. Alice and her sons William and Archibald were still living at 107 Plymouth Road in 1911 but there was no trace of Alastair. He served in the Central Ontario Regiment, 4th Canadian Mounted Rifles Battalion with the rank of Lieutenant. Alastair died on 26th August 1918 aged 32 and is buried at A. 1., Orange Hill Cemetery, Feuchy. He was survived by his wife Etheleen Clara Brown who lived in 38 Duke Street, Stratford, Ontario. Alistair and Etheleen Brown had 3 children. He had been a member of All Saints Church.
