Frank H Bwye
Frank was born in Penarth in 1897 the brother of William. In 1911 Frank was living at 28 King Street, Penarth with his father Robert George Bwye, stepmother Elizabeth Bwye, sisters Emily, Edith and Lilian and step siblings Sarah, Mary and John Coyle. Andrew Coyle and Albert Cyril Sims were also his stepbrothers. He served in the 10th Battalion, the Royal Welsh Fusiliers. His rank was Private (service number 12365). Frank was killed in action on 17th June 1917 aged 19 and is commemorated on Bay 6 Arras Memorial.
