Herbert P. Hopkins
Herbert Peter Hopkins was born in 1925, the son of William and Mabel Hopkins of Penarth. In 1939, William, Mabel, and Windsor D Hopkins lived at 14 Hastings Avenue.
Herbert served in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, 77 Squadron. His rank was Sergeant and his service number was 1337740. Herbert died on the 21st January 1944 aged 19 and is commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial, Panel 231.
