Arthur James
Arthur Graham James was born in 1919, the son of Campbell Frederick and Gwendoline James of Penarth. In 1939, Campbell F Gwendolen, Ralph C and Peter R James lived at 95 Plymouth Road.
Arthur served in the Royal Air Force, 211 Squadron. His rank was Flight Sergeant and his service number was 522253. Arthur died on the 15th April 1941 aged 22 and is commemorated on the Alamein Memorial, Column 242.
