The Friends had a table at the Penarth and District Lesotho Trust to publicise Grow, Show, Share – the event we will be running in September.
The sale took place at Stanwell Road Baptist Church on the morning of Saturday 9th May. The display on the table showed examples of the type of exhibit we would like to see at Grow, Show, Share. On show in the ‘plot’ were a pot plant, herbs, fruit, cut flowers, fruits made of wood, a felt carrot and a potato character dressed as a bride.

There was a lot of interest and about 20 people gave details so they could be contacted about entering a little later in the year.
The sale raised over £1,000 for the Trust funds.
