Members of the congregation, including Tricia, one of our founder members, had a narrow escape from injury on Palm Sunday, 29th March, when a small panel from the West Window (the Warrior Window above the Roll of Honour) blew in.  The wind was very strong and a panel was blown to the ground where it shattered.  This happened after the service when the congregation was at the back of the church having coffee and talking.  Luckily no-one was hurt.

The Churchwardens have quotes to repair the window and have started the faculty procedure.  During repair work the Roll of Honour will have to be covered and protected.

The broken panel has been boarded over in the meantime.
