WW2 – Mini Histories
There is a lot of information available using the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, Forces and various family history internet sites. All the information in the Mini Histories is in the public domain or has been supplied by family members and is used with their permission. The main sites used are the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, Census returns and the 1939 Register.
However, we would like to know more about the lives of the men and one woman on the Roll of Honour. If anyone has a connection with, or recognises a name on the Roll please contact us at friendsofstaugustinespenarth@yahoo.com. The aim is to record as much information as possible about the lives of the men, particularly their lives in Penarth before they went to war. Information can also be sent using the ‘Roll of Honour Submissions’ tab.
