About 600 people crowded into St Augustine’s for the Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day service.

During this very moving service wreaths were laid by the Deputy Lord Lieutenant representing the Queen, Cllr Jon Luxton, Penarth Town Mayor on behalf of the people of Penarth, a representative of the Royal British Legion and The Friends of St Augustine’s. Poppy crosses and other tributes were laid by family members.

Families of men named on the Roll of Honour had a photograph taken in front of the Roll as a memento of the occasion.
