By popular demand, the South and West Wales Wildlife Trust held a Bat and Moth Evening at St Augustine’s on Saturday 8th September.

Despite the weather being damp about 15 people came to see the bats who live in and near the churchyard and to hear them using bat detectors.  They were also able to see some of the large number of moths who live here as well.

Our thanks to Meg and Vaughn from the South and West Wales Wildlife Trust who led the evening and identified the various inhabitants of the churchyard.
