Dawn Chorus Walk

On Saturday, 12th April starting at 7am there was a Dawn Chorus walk starting at the Kymin and ending at St Augustine’s. The walk was lead by John Wilson from the Glamorgan Bird Club. John led the group of about 30 people, identifying birds by their songs and calls as they walked along. Unfortunately some of the birds proved to be a little shy so they could not be seen but they could be heard. On arriving at St Augustine’s the walkers were met by Marion Rowlands who kindly provided some very welcome tea, coffee and bara brith. Our thanks to John and Marion.
