Nature Walk

On 8th June, during Celebrating Churchyards Week, the Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales led a Nature Walk round the churchyard.  A number of people walked round the churchyard looking at the plants, insects and animals that live there. It was interesting to see a damsel fly and ladybird larvae as well as micro moths and the large number of different grasses and flowers.  A welcome find was a healthy-looking slowworm  – evidence that the slowworm population has survived the winter.

If you  were unable to be there on 8th come and have a look for yourself – but please make sure you have suitable footwear and be very careful if you are leaving the made paths.
