Penarth: the lost village

On Sunday 2nd March, during the usual Open Church session, there was an opportunity to see and hear about some survivals from the original village of Penarth.
About 70 people took advantage of the opportunity to find out more about Penarth and its history.
Old records of baptisms, weddings and burials from the 18th century as well as details from 1813 onwards were consulted along with details of the BGMS system and how to get access to it.
