On the afternoon of Sunday 12th May, a lovely spring day, 12 members of The Friends visited the new Frank Roper Centre at The Church of the Resurrection in Ely.

Frank Roper was a sculptor who lived and worked in Penarth.  There is an example of his work in St Augustine’s and one in the Parish Hall.

The group was met by the Vicar, the Rev. Jan Gould, who showed the visitors around the church and the Frank Roper Centre.

Tea and cake were provided to round off a much enjoyed afternoon.
