Denys Garrett
Denys Garrett was born in Taunton on the 8th April 1913, the son of Frank E and Enid B Garrett. In 1939, Denys, a general labourer (heavy worker) lived with the Hill family at 102 Glebe Street.
Denys served in the Merchant Navy as an Able Seaman aboard S.S. Lunan (Bristol). He died on 4th July 1941 aged 28 and is commemorated on the Tower Hill Memorial, Panel 66.
