Robert M. Bond
Robert Meredith Bond was born on 16th December 1921, the son of Frederick and Winifred Bond of Penarth. In 1939 he was a clerical officer in the Admiralty and lived at 3 Buck Lane, Wembley, Middx.
Robert served in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, 229 Squadron with the rank of Flight Sergeant. His service number was 1389240. Robert died on 24th December 1943 aged 22 and is commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial, Panel 135.
