Robert J. Curtin
Robert J Curtin was born in 1922, the son of James David and Kate Louisa Curtin of Penarth. In 1939, Kate, now a widow, Daniel, Catherine, Charles, Edith Mary and Margaret Curtin lived at 42 Glebe Street.
Robert served in the Royal Navy as a Stoker 2nd Class aboard H.M.S. Royal Arthur. His service number was KX113299. Robert died on the 21st August 1940 aged 18 and is buried in Penarth Cemetery Sec. F. Grave 139.
