F. George Ford
Francis George Ford was born in 1921, the son of William George and Mary Rebecca Ford of Penarth. In 1939, William, Mary and their family Mary V, William J B, Dorothy E and Michael D Ford, lived at 26 Lord Street.
George served in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve with the rank of Warrant Officer. His service number was 1259118. George died on the 9th November 1945 aged 24 and is commemorated on the Runnymede Medorial, Panel 269.
