Hugh N. G. Evans
Hugh Noel Glynne Evans was born in 1919 or1920, the son of Ivor Charles and Elizabeth Jane Evans, of Penarth. In 1939 the family lived at 85 Plymouth Road.
Hugh served in the 21st King George V’s Own Horse (Central India Horse), I.A.C. with the rank of Lieutenant. His service number was EC/6067. Hugh died on the 24th August 1944 aged 24 and is buried in Gradara War Cemetery, II, A, 62.
