A. Cyril Emery
Arthur Cyril Emery was born in 1896 or 1897, the son of Son of Arthur and Mabel Emery. He married Muriel. In 1911 Arthur and Mabel with their children Arthur, Dorothy, Edgar, Graham and Kathleen lived at 62 Stanwell Road. On 12th May 1925, Arthur C Emery, an iron and steel merchant aged 28 of 62 Stanwell Road, Penarth sailed from London to Melbourne on board the “Esperance Bay” to live in Australia.
Arthur served as a Driver in the Australian Army Service Corps, A.I.F. 3 Res. M.T. Company. His service number was NX69425. Arthur died on 26th April 1943 aged 46 and is buried in Jakarta War Cemetery 3. J. 7.
