Edwin J. Browning
Edwin James Browning was born on 26th January 1914, the son of Edwin and Ellen Browning of Penarth. In 1939, Edwin, Ellen and Edwin James, a general labourer, lived at 93 Windsor Road.
Edwin served as a Leading Aircraftman with the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. His service number was 976761. Edwin died on 26th May 1943 aged 29. He is commemorated on the Cassino Memorial, Panel 8.
