George H. Crowther
George Henry Crowther was born in 1895, the husband of Phyllis E Bodenham. In 1939, Phyllis and her two sons, Howard and Donald, lived at 31 Coronation Terrace.
George served in the Merchant Navy as a Deckhand aboard S.S. Empire Mersey (Liverpool). He died on 14th October 1942 aged 47 and is commemorated on the Tower Hill Memorial, Panel 43.
