Frank G. Greenaway
Frank Gordon Greenaway was born 1924, the son of Frank and Elizabeth Maud Greenaway of Cogan, Penarth. In 1939, Frank, Elizabeth M, Violet I, and Margaret Doreen Greenaway lived at 9, Pill Street, Cogan.
Frank served in the South Staffordshire Regiment, 2nd (Airborne) Battalion. His rank was Private and his service number was 4209887. Frank died on the 9th July 1943 and is commemorated on the Cassino Memorial, Panel 8.
He also served in the Royal Welsh Fusiliers.
