Clifford White
Clifford White was born in Batley, Yorkshire in 1895. He was the son of Thomas and Elizabeth White and in 1911 was living with his parents and siblings Harry, Madge, John and Eva at 88 Stanwell Road. He was employed as a clerk (1911 census). Clifford served as Second Lieutenant in 200th Company, Machine Gun Corps (Infantry). He was killed in action on 26th September 1917 and is commemorated on Panel 154 t0 159 and 163A, Tyne Cot Memorial.
