Trevor H Johnson
Trevor Holmes Johnson was born in Penarth, the son of Aaron and Mary Hannah Johnson, of 2, Beach Cliff, Penarth. He appears to have been brought up in Machen, Newport. In 1901 he was a Mechanical Engineer Pupil and was living at Prospect House, Risca, Newport with his parents Aaron and Mary Johnson and siblings Ernest, Annie and William. In 1911, Mary Johnson, a widow, was living at 35 Stanwell Road with her children Mary, Annie and William. There is no trace of Trevor. He served in 28th Lines of Communication Company, the Royal Army Service Corps and his rank was Private (service number M/331293). Trevor died in the Balkans on 4th July 1918 aged 35 and is buried at 40, Kirechkoi-Hortakoi Military Cemetery.
