Reginald Coney
Reginald was born in Penarth in 1886 and was the brother of William. In 1911 he was living at 12 Maughan Street with his parents Thomas and Sarah, brother Frederick and sister Milly. He married Elizabeth and they lived in Ludlow Street. Reginald served in the 24th Battalion, The Welsh Regiment with the rank of Private (service number 320531) He died of pneumonia on 7th October 1918 aged 32 and is buried at XI. B. 14. Lapugnoy Military Cemetery. He was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
