Edward A Hunt
Edward Albert Hunt was born in Cogan in 1894. In 1911 he was a baker’s apprentice and lived at 14 Agnes Street, Cogan with his parents John and Louisa Hunt and brothers William, Thomas, Ernest, Douglas and Leslie. Edward served in the 15th Battalion, the Welsh Regiment with the rank of Private (service number 290900). He was killed in action on 15th March 1918 and is buried at VII. C. 21., Cite Bonjean Military Cemetery, Armentieres.
