Walter Middleton
Walter Middleton was born in Barrow in Furness in 1889. In 1911 he was working as a cab driver and lived at 41 Harriet Street, Cogan with his parents James and Sarah Middleton and sister Ethel. Walter died, possibly of influenza on 1st October 1918 aged 29 and was buried in St Dochdwy’s churchyard on 6th October 1918 . His last address was 32 Glebe St, Penarth. Sarah Jane Middleton, aged 63, of 32 Glebe Street was buried on the same day.
